Bigger and better than before, The Clean Show may be one of the most distinct events that Shepard produces. With staff spending two weeks between load in and load out, The Clean Show, North America’s largest exposition for laundering, dry-cleaning, textile care services, supplies, and equipment creates a platform that brings together professionals to network, educate, and share the latest technologies in the industry.
After being sidelined for three years, due to the Pandemic, The Clean Show held its comeback conference at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. With world-renowned standards of excellence, the show organizer, Messe Frankfurt, tasked the Shepard team with creating a fresh new look, and asked for elevated areas for attendees and members of the industry to connect and become inspired for years to come.
One of the new initiatives included rebranding the registration area to make a stunning visual and positive impression on attendees. Utilizing a core design concept developed by the show’s marketing team, Shepard was challenged to implement a full overhaul of the layout, graphics, and lighting.
“We chose greens, blues, and lucite to accentuate the flow of water, and invoke a moment that gave attention to the meaning behind the industry, in a subtle, sensory way,” said Chris Patch, Director of Creative Services.
Additionally, because of the size of the equipment and overall square footage of the event, Shepard had their set-up team accommodate for a new floor layout that would highlight the massive equipment and allow for demo areas with working water and electricity to showcase high-capacity washers, dryers, and the latest in dry-cleaning technology.
“We had associates from around the country helping to manage the event and nearly every internal graphic and production person had some hand in the success of the show,” said Kevin Belanger, Vice President of Business Development.
