Atlanta, GA – Shepard, one of the fastest growing event service providers, today announced changes in its operational leadership and management teams.
Steve Margos is promoted to executive vice president, operations, where he will play a pivotal role in forging new acquisitions and continuing Shepard’s growth. Formerly west coast vice president of operations, Margos is now responsible for managing all aspects of operational efficiency company-wide.
“Over the past five years, Steve has established a strong foundation for growth for our west coast operations, and we are thrilled to have his steady hand at Shepard’s nationwide operational helm,” says Steve Basch, chief executive officer. “Together with his team, he will continue to improve efficiencies, cut costs, and strengthen our innovation potential.”
Mike Kennedy steps into the position of vice president, operations, where he will work alongside Margos to deliver customer solutions – specifically focusing on national development and implementation of processes and procedures. Kennedy has held a range of operational roles at Shepard over the past eight years and was named 2015 Associate of the Year.
“Mike is an invaluable asset to Shepard and has shown his ability as a natural leader,” says Margos. “He is passionate about reducing customer costs, systematic in his process approach, and strongly advocates sustainability in the workplace. We have worked closely for many years, and I look forward to working with Mike during Shepard’s next phase of growth.”
Ian Seidenberg joins the Shepard family in the role of general manager, Las Vegas. Seidenberg will oversee daily operations of the Las Vegas branch and is committed to delivering profitable growth and customer satisfaction to the west coast. Seidenberg brings with him more than 17 years of operational excellence in fast-paced event environments.
