HISTORY
Founded in 1905, Shepard Exposition Services is an owner-operated, full-service general services exposition contractor headquartered in Atlanta, GA., with a long-standing reputation for making business a pleasure. Shepard is at once capable enough to produce the largest expositions and flexible enough to respond to an exhibitor’s most immediate issues.
Shepard contracts more than 400 shows and events annually in every major convention center in the United States – from a product announcement at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston to a 500,000 NSF show on the West Coast.
Since the early 20th century, Shepard has played an integral role in the evolution of the exposition industry. Since 1982, when the company was purchased by industry veteran Carl Mitchell, its owners has systematically developed Shepard into the most service-oriented business in its field. This industry veteran has spent his entire career in trade show production.
